Configure your Dell high performance computer

Every few years we need to upgrade our high performance computer for one reason or another. The great thing about technology nowadays is that there are many tools available online for you to customised your next high performance computer as you need it.

Below is an example from

I have customised it for running pure numerical simulation with some form of mass storage. With 192GB of memory, it is more than enough for most of the researchers in the world. You will still need to pump cool air into the beast to maximise its full potential and ensure uninterrupted processing.

8th year at Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)

This month marks the start of Jun Long's 8th year at Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) 's Institute for Infocomm Research.

A lot of things have changed in the organisation since he joined. The past two year was the most most drastic change in operations and landscape. Hopefully, the changes create a better environment for Singapore research and a better country future.

Half Of All PhD Students Suffer From Psychological Distress

A brand new study by a team of international researchers has underscored just how common such conditions crop up in this very specific demographic. Embracing innovation

"Embracing innovation: The Government will continue to support firms in their efforts to tap on innovation and technology. For example, A*STAR will continue to advise businesses on how technology can aid them, and now also provide access to advanced, specialised equipment, and user training under a new Tech Access Initiative.
The Headstart programme, where SMEs that co-develop Intellectual Properties with A*STAR get to enjoy royalty-free and exclusive licences for 18 months, will have its duration extended to 36 months."

External Sites in Opposition and in Support

A group of IEEE members assembled a variety of references to support their stance in opposition to the proposed constitutional amendment.
